Before surgery
Lord Jesus Christ, healer of the sick, I come to you before this surgery. I entrust my body to the skill of my doctors and my soul to your mercy. Unite my fear and any pain to your own suffering on the cross.
Mary, Health of the Sick, pray for me. St. Raphael, guide me. St. Luke, physician, pray for the hands that will operate. Guardian angel, keep watch while I sleep.
Jesus, I trust in you. Amen.
