For a home where someone is ill

Lord, this house has changed. The routines are different, the voices are quieter, and there is a medicine cabinet where there used to be a fruit bowl.

Bless this home. Let it be a place of rest for the one who is ill and a place of peace for everyone who lives here. Give us patience with each other, humor in the hard moments, and gratitude for small things: a good night's sleep, a warm meal, a day with less pain.

Let your peace live here with us. Amen.
