For nurses, doctors and hospital staff

Lord, thank you for the people who work in this building at night, on holidays, and when they are tired. Bless the nurses who answer the call light, the doctors who deliver hard news, the aides, the cleaners, the chaplains and the technicians nobody sees.

Give them patience, compassion that doesn't run out, and rest when they go home. Let them know their work matters to the person in that bed and to you. Amen.
