For the family keeping watch overnight

Lord of the long night, we're in the chairs by the bed again. We are tired in our bones and we won't leave. Watch with us. Where we doze, keep guard. Where we despair, remind us of morning. Let us take turns being strong, and when our turn is over, let us rest without guilt. Amen.
