For healing of a heavy mind and spirit

God of all comfort, some sickness can't be seen on a scan. Thoughts that won't settle, sadness that sits on the chest, worry that wakes before dawn.

Come into that place. Bring peace where there is noise and light where it has been dark. Lead us to the doctors, counselors and friends who can help, and give us the courage to ask them. Remind us that needing help is not failing.

Be gentle with us today. Amen.
