Lord, this isn't a sprint. Some days I feel better, and then I'm back where I started. Teach me to measure progress in inches and to be kind to myself on the bad days.

Give me patience with my own body, and with the people who don't understand how tired I am. Help me find joy in what I can still do. Where the road is long, give me companions on it.

You never get tired of me. Help me remember that when I'm tired of myself. Amen.
