A sick person's offering
Lord Jesus, I give you this day: my prayers, my work, my joys and my pain. Because I am sick, I can't do all I'd like to do, but I can offer you what I have.
Unite my suffering to yours on the cross. Let it be of use for those I love, for those who have no one to pray for them, and for the healing of the world. Give me patience when I'm weary and courage when I'm afraid.
Mary, my Mother, stay by my bed as you stood at the foot of the cross. Amen.
