Physician of souls and bodies
O Lord Jesus Christ, our God, physician of souls and bodies, who healed the paralytic, raised Peter's mother-in-law from her bed and gave sight to the blind: visit your servant who lies sick.
Rebuke the fever. Quiet the pain. Raise them up from this bed and set their feet again on the path of your commandments. Heal the body, and heal also the soul, for you alone are the lover of mankind.
Through the prayers of your most pure Mother, of the holy unmercenary healers Cosmas and Damian, and of all your saints, have mercy on us and save us. Amen.
