A prayer from Psalm 41 for the sick

Lord, you bless those who think of the weak and the sick, and you deliver them in the day of trouble. Today I ask you to remember one who is sick.

Sustain them on their bed of illness. Restore them from their sickbed. Keep them alive, and bless them in the land. Do not give them up to what they fear. Amen.

Drawn from Psalm 41:1–3
